Twenty-five years ago, God gave me a vision to empower women. Today, I am thrilled to introduce you to Lydia's Retreat Center. I gave my life to Christ at age 5 and have served in various ministries, culminating in my ministerial license from Wayland Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD.

Inspired by God's greatest gift of love through Jesus, as mentioned in Ephesians 2:8-10, our mission focuses on healing and encouragement through ministries like "It's Tea Time" and BHAD. We believe in the transformative power of community and support.

Lydia's Retreat Center aims to reach women worldwide, fostering growth in leadership and faith. As Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, we are resilient in the face of challenges. We pray that our platform helps women find God's guiding light in hard times.

Ministry Timeline: 

2000 — The Birth of a Vision

A God‑inspired vision for a ministry dedicated to empowering and uplifting women is conceived, laying the foundation for what would become Lydia’s Retreat Center: A Resource For Women.

2010 — It’s Tea Time: A Gathering for Senior Women

The annual It’s Tea Time event launches, creating a cherished space for senior women to connect, celebrate, and experience fellowship, honor, and joy.

2014 — Broken Healed and Delivered (BHAD)

Inspired by Psalms 34:10 and 147:3, the BHAD ministry is established to minister to the brokenhearted, offering spiritual healing, emotional restoration, and Christ‑centered support.

2020 — Lydia’s Retreat Center Officially Launches

On September 3rd, Lydia’s Retreat Center: A Resource for Women is formally launched online, providing a dedicated digital sanctuary for women seeking spiritual growth, resources, and community.

2024 — Lydia’s Classroom: Empower Her Program

Lydia’s Classroom introduces the Empower Her Program, offering online business classes with easy‑to‑follow backlinks, connecting women to free tools, resources, and community networks. The program equips women with practical skills to launch and grow successful start‑up businesses.

2026 — Covenant Partnership with PBICS

Lydia’s Retreat Center enters into a Partnership/Covenant Agreement with Philadelphia Bible Institute College & Seminary (Baltimore). This Kingdom‑aligned collaboration expands educational access, leadership development, and ministry training opportunities—strengthening both organizations’ shared mission to equip and empower women, families, and emerging leaders.
