Acts 16:30-31 (NIV)
Romans 5:8 highlights, "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 6:23a states, "For the wages of sin is death," but Romans 6:23b reassures us with, "but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
This profound message is further emphasized in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." The overarching message of salvation to all is encapsulated in Romans 10:8-13: "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (the word of faith we proclaim); if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
"With the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved. The Scripture says everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame. There is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Dear Lord Jesus, please come into my heart. I don't understand everything right now, but in due season I will. I trust you to reveal Yourself to me. Amen.
